About the author:
He was born in 1951 in Rijeka, where he still lives and works today. He has been professionally engaged in painting since 1973, and already in 1978 became a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists Rijeka, HDLU Zagreb, DNLU, and ZUH, earning the status of an independent artist. Throughout his rich career, he developed a versatile opus that, besides classical painting, includes graphics, sculpture, and more recently, works in new media and interior design.
He began his exhibition activity in 1976 and to date has held an impressive 70 solo exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad. Concurrently, he has participated in over 300 group exhibitions and around 80 art colonies worldwide, attesting to his exceptional productivity and international reputation. His works, awarded at numerous competitions, are found in the collections of renowned museums and galleries as well as prestigious private collections, thus woven into the fabric of the contemporary Croatian art scene. Through five decades of continuous creativity, he has achieved a recognizable artistic expression that combines the skill of tradition with innovative approaches of contemporary artistic practice.
