Geier Andreas – Homage to Rab 1

About the author:He was born in 1968 in Merano, Italy. After formal sculptural education acquired in various schools: a stonemasonry school, the vocational school for stone processing Laas in Lehrabetrag, a woodworking school in Volkenstein, etc., he specialized in sculpture earning the title “Master of Sculpture.” Trained in working with stone, wood, and clay, he also engages in painting, theatrical scenography, and commercial monumental sculpture. He participates in the world sculpture competition in St. Gallen, and his work is represented by galleries at art fairs (such as the Martin Geter gallery which exhibits him in Innsbruck). He lives and works in Merano, Italy. His sculptural recognition is credited to realistic sculptures carved in pure white Merano marble.
