About the author:

He was born in Venice, Italy in 1958. After graduating from high school of arts (Liceo Artistico Statale), he earned a degree in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. He also attended seminars at the Milan JVC (professional video courses). He was a member of the Palazzo Carminati artist group from Venice. He is a recipient of several international scholarships in Canada, the USA, Austria, and Germany. He works as a visual artist, poet, and performer.

In 1980, he launched the event “Vetropittura & Vetropoesia,” anticipating his work in the medium of glass as a fusion of graphic, glass forms and poetry. He is the author and performer of numerous “sound” sculptures such as “Poevetro,” “Vetrocantara,” “Vetrofono,” “Vetrorganica.” The main medium of his artistic expression is glass, and his work also utilizes other transparent materials as well as various sound and light instruments.

Since 1981, he has been a collaborator for the international magazine Poesia Zeta, and he published two books (in 1990 and 1995) on the subject of poetry. He is the author of many films and videos related to artistic research, a participant in art festivals, a member of Cinema Indipendente Italiano and Centro Studio Vetro Murano. His works are found in numerous public and private collections, and he lives and works in Treviso.
