About the author:She was born in 1969 in Patna, India. She graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design, and in 1992 earned a degree in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Since 1993, she has worked as a professor at the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb, and since 2009, she has been permanently employed at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb, currently holding the position of associate professor in the Department of Artistic Disciplines. Since 2012, she has been the vice-dean for teaching and students at the same faculty. She has exhibited in fifteen solo and numerous group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, and is the recipient of several awards, including the AICA Award at the 9th Croatian Sculpture Triennial in 2006. She is a member of HDLU and HULU and the founder and artistic director of the organization “Mandala studio.” She is the author of several picture books and art folders for children published by the “Profil” publishing house. She lives and works in Zagreb.
