Beata Maria was bomin Koszalin in Poland in 1964. She graduated from the Department ofCeramics and Glass at Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts in 1990, as well as from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass (unique pottery) in the class of Professor KrystynyCybinskiej. She is the founder of the creative group “Od dawna”. She has been organising open air pottery-making workshops in Chodziežsince 1990. She makes unique pieces of pottery, embedding them occasionally in her canvases. She works in the field of industrial design and her works can be found in private collections in the country and abroad, as well as in museum and gallery collections. She is the conceptual author and creator of “Koszalinskidenar“ award, as well as the designer and author of the original porcelain for Koszalin University of Technology and of porcelain statues -the Koszalin Eagles award. She was also amember of the Council of Culture 2011-2012. Beata participated in numerous exhibitions in Wroclaw, Zakopani, Warsaw, Czestochow, Chodziežand Luxembourg, as well as held noted individual shows in her home country and Berlin. She took part in IWP competitions of contemporary ceramics in Warsaw in 1989, International Festival of Mino Ceramics in Japan in 1992 and Open Art Festival in Luxembourg in 1997, where she won. She has also participated in numerous charity auctions intended for children.
