Nikšić Krešimir – Island

He was born in Zagreb in 1961. He completed the author painting school in the class of Prof. Dino Trtovac, after which he enrolled in the College for Visual Arts in Ljubljana, graduating in the class of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanja Mastnak and Prof. Dr. Darko Slavec. Occasionally, he works on illustrations, interior design, and theatrical scenography. The publishing house Znanje in Zagreb published his monograph “Portrait of an Artist.” He lives and works in Zagreb. Under UNESCO’s organization, he exhibited at the prestigious Espace Pierre Cardin gallery in Paris (1998). He won the first prize for painting at the 13th Biennial Internationale Art del Friuli Giulia (2002). He is a member of the professional associations HDLU and HZSU.
