About the author:
He was born in 1981 in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, at the Graphic Design department. He actively engages in painting, design, classical and digital graphics. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions presenting himself as a graphic artist, poster author, as well as in significant painting presentations in Serbia and the USA. He has held about ten solo exhibitions in his country and is the author of graphic designs and book layouts. He received the 2nd prize for graphics from the Braća Stamenković Institute, Belgrade, 2003, the 1st prize for a poster at the International Puppet Festival, Serbia, 2004, and an award for creativity for the design of a Cyrillic font from the Karić Foundation “Write in Cyrillic,” 2006. He lives and works in Belgrade.
The breakdown of matter into primary elements and then recombination in a refined form applies to the analysis, i.e., description of his work. An expressionist painting based on solid form, free from ideologization, reduced to a personal vision and the pure language of painterly gesture.
