Guglielmi Zoe – Rise against

Zoe Guglielmi was born in 1985 in Zagreb, Croatia. At the age of six, she moved to Austria, where she completed her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under the mentorship of Hubert Schmalix and Amelie von Wulffen. After her studies, she lived in more than six countries and currently resides in Greece, which serves as a strong source of inspiration for her.

Guglielmi is a figurative painter whose works explore themes of migration, identity, and freedom. Her series of bird paintings symbolizes beings that ignore borders through their existence, reflecting the human longing for freedom. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Austria, Italy, Greece, and Croatia. Some of her works include Rise Against (2014), oil on canvas measuring 60 × 80 cm.
