Dundur Luka – Portrait of Nina

Born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1986. In 2005 he completed the School of Applied Arts and Design and enrolled in the study of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where he graduated in the class of Professor Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač. He has been engaged in the cultural sphere through his work in the studios of the Independent Cultural Centre Medica in Zagreb. Luka received an award for the best graduation piece in 2001. His work was well received at the Gallery of Matica Hrvatska last year. He explores his expression through various painterly techniques which he often combines, but portraits executed in oil on canvas are his favourite. He lives and creates his works in Zagreb.
