About the author:

He was born in 1951 in Rijeka, where he still lives and works today. He has been professionally engaged in painting since 1973, and by 1978 he became a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists Rijeka, HDLU Zagreb, DNLU, and ZUH, acquiring the status of an independent artist. During his rich career, he developed a versatile body of work that, in addition to classical painting, includes graphics, sculpture, and more recently works in new media and interior design.

He began his exhibition activity in 1976 and has since held an impressive 70 solo exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad. At the same time, he participated in over 300 group exhibitions and about 80 art colonies worldwide, which attests to his exceptional productivity and international reputation. His works, awarded in numerous competitions, are part of collections in renowned museums and galleries as well as prestigious private collections, embedding him in the fabric of the contemporary Croatian art scene. Throughout five decades of continuous creation, he has established a recognizable artistic expression that combines the skill of tradition with innovative approaches to contemporary artistic practice.
