Gelmi Annamaria – On the Other Side of Reality

About the author:

She was born in Trento, Italy. She graduated in sculpture and painting – first at the Accademia di Brera in Milan, and then at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice.

Throughout her artistic career, she has developed a diverse opus that includes:

• transparent sculptures made of plexiglass and glass

• minimalist black-and-white works on Japanese paper

• monumental sculptures and installations made of steel, iron, and copper

She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in prestigious galleries across Italy and worldwide, including participation in the XLVI Venice Biennale.

She lives and works in her hometown of Trento, where she continues her artistic research.
