Morena Brnčić – Horse

Morena Brnčić (born 1976 in Rijeka, Croatia) is an academic painter who graduated in 2000 from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan under Professor Saverio Terruso. She began exhibiting in 1998 at the Milan Academy’s Salon I and has held approximately 34 solo and around 100 group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. A member of HDLU Zagreb (since 2001) and ULIKUMVG, Brnčić is known for her detailed, hyperrealistic depictions of horses and still lifes, while her more recent work integrates marine themes—shells, fish, and amforic forms—in compositions that blend veristic technique with magical realism. Her richly textured paintings appear in private collections across Europe and the United States.
