Nikšić Krešimir – In the Red Earth

He was born in Zagreb in 1961. He completed the author’s painting school in the class of Prof. Dino Trtovac, after which he enrolled at the College for Visual Arts in Ljubljana, graduating in the class of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanja Mastnak and Prof. Dr. Darko Slavec. Occasionally, he does illustrations, designs interiors and theatre scenography. The publishing house Znanje in Zagreb released his monograph Portrait of the Artist. He lives and works in Zagreb. He exhibited at the prestigious Espace Pierre Cardin gallery in Paris (1998) under the auspices of UNESCO. He won first prize for painting at the 13th Biennial internazionale Art del Friuli Giullia (2002). He is a member of the professional associations HDLU and HZSU.
