About the author:
She was born in 1963 in Galaţi, Romania. After high school of arts, she studied painting and visual arts at the “Gheorghe Enescu” Conservatory, which she completed in 1987. She gained her first professional experiences as a designer and working on the restoration of historic buildings in Bucharest and as an art culture teacher.
Since 2000, she has been living in Turin, Italy, where she works and exhibits in her own art studio along with her husband. She is a member of the Romanian Artists Society and became a member of the international painting association in 2007.
She has participated in group exhibitions in Romania, Italy, France, and Moldova. She has taken part in the Venice Biennale, juried exhibitions in Les Carrelles in France, exhibited with the Azimut group, and participated in numerous art symposia. This year she plans a large solo exhibition in Turin.
She is a recipient of three awards in Italy (Cortina) and France. She lives and works in Turin, Italy.
