About the author:
He was born in 1960 in Bordesti, Romania. He graduated in sculpture at the Academy of Arts in Bucharest. For the past 13 years, he has lived in Italy, in Turin, where he moved in 1998 and opened his own sculpture studio.
Five years ago, he began his artistic work on the Cotroceni Palace and the Republic building (today’s Parliament building) in Bucharest, restoring their interiors. He is the author of numerous monumental sculptures characterized by exceptional lightness. He expresses himself through the media of wood, bronze, resin, and iron, creating art full of vitality and extraordinary dynamics.
His works represent a search for the causes and purpose of human existence, filled with spirituality and meditative calm. He is known for kinetic sculptures that, through surreal forms in harmonious movement, point to emotion, magic, and mysteries.
He has exhibited in Italy, his native Romania, France, Alexandria, and Austria. He has won numerous awards at international symposiums in Italy. He is a member of the Romanian Visual Artists Association (UAE). He lives and works as an independent artist in Turin, Italy.
