About the author:
She was born in 1982 in Skopje, Macedonia. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2006, majoring in painting and conservation and restoration, in the class of Prof. Blagoje Manevski. In 2007, she also graduated from the pedagogical department, and in 2011 she earned her master’s degree in painting under the mentorship of the same professor. She is a member of the Society of Fine Artists of Macedonia. She is also one of the founders of the artistic collective and alternative cultural-artistic space Art Institute (2009 – 2011) in Skopje. In 2012, she co-founded the women’s art group “MOMI” (LADIES). She is currently the owner and manager of the company “Artist Workshop – Creative Puzzles,” founded in 2014, and since 2015 she has held the status of an independent artist. She has presented numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions, artist colonies, festivals, and workshops in Macedonia and abroad (USA – New York, Canada, France, Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Mongolia, China, Croatia,…). She was awarded the annual Young Artist Award “Denes” by the Center for Contemporary Art (2008) and represented the Republic of Macedonia at the international competition, the 7th Francophone Games in sculpture in Nice, France (2013). She has participated in several artist residencies: Paris, Vienna, New York City as a recipient of the Young Visual Artist Award “Denes,”… Her artistic efforts are characterized by work and research in diverse media, combining them in the production of installations, objects, paintings, drawings, collages, video installations, etc.
