Andrea Bratoševa – Shiva in the Alps I

About the author:She was born in 1977 in Levice, Slovakia. After completing art school with a focus on graphic design in Bratislava, she enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in 1998, where she graduated in painting under the mentorship of Prof. Ivan Csudai in 2005. To date, she has participated in more than thirty group exhibitions in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Italy, and Slovenia, including the IV Zlinsky Salon of Youth in the Czech Republic (2006), Young European Art, Bratislava (2010), Women, Bratislava (2012), New Generation, Milan (Italy, 2016), among others, and has presented seven solo exhibitions in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. She is a recipient of the VUB Foundation award in Bratislava—2nd place in the young artists category in 2007 and 1st place in the young artists category in 2008. She lives and works in Levice, Slovakia.
