Backhaus Arno – Untitled 1

Arno Bachaus was born on September 29, 1952 (Aschaffenburg am Main) in Germany. From 1970 to 1974, he studied at the Art Academy in Hanau (Germany) in the class of Prof. Goldsmith. In 1976, he graduated in design in Wiesbaden. For his further education, he received the Prinzregent Luitpold scholarship and the Mathias Pschorr Foundation scholarship. From the 1980s until today, he has held numerous exhibitions throughout Germany and has also exhibited in Italy. His works are part of the Bavarian State Collection in Munich, the Th. Niederreuther collection, and city museums in Aschaffenburg and Wiesbaden. He correlates his artistic reflections with the society he belongs to, openly exposing all possibilities and impossibilities of human existence within today’s civilized world.
