Backhaus Arno – Untitled 1

Arno Bachaus was born on 29.09.1952 (Aschaffenburg a. Main) in Germany. From 1970 to 1974, he studied at the Academy of Arts in Hanau (Germany) in the class of Prof. Goldsmith. In 1976, he graduated in design in Wiesbaden. For his advancement, he received a scholarship from Prinzregent Luitpold and a scholarship from the Mathias Pschorr Foundation. From the 1980s to today, he has held numerous exhibitions throughout Germany and has also exhibited in Italy. His works are in the Bavarian State Collection in Munich, in the collection of Th. Niederreuther, and in city museums in Aschaffenburg and Wiesbaden. He correlates his artistic reflections with the society to which he belongs, openly revealing all the possibilities and impossibilities of human existence within today’s civilized world.
