Bakliža Darko – Grička Golubica 2

He was born in 1958 in Krapina. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in the class of Professor Emeritus Đuro Seder. He is an assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. His paintings have been exhibited in Croatia and abroad, and he has received numerous awards. He has created over twenty stage designs for theater. He also works as a writer and composer. His animated films are Prica prva (2002), Spoj (2004), and Teorija odraza (2006). He presented films at more than forty festivals worldwide and won 8 domestic and international awards. He is a member of HDLU. He is a painter of quick and impulsive strokes, an expressive trace with which he notes and follows inner impulses and rhythms, a skilled draftsman who balances between intuitive and analytical recording, lyrical gestures, and thoughtful proportions.
