Bartulović Branimir – From the series On My Shores 1

About the author:

He was born in 1955 in Blato on Cetina. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg, University of Mostar, where he also earned his master’s degree. He is a member of the HDLU Split.

So far, he has held 26 solo and 33 group exhibitions.

The thematic starting points of his works are found in the landscapes along the Cetina River, which he interprets with a minimalist expression through:

• achromatic relationships

• subtle relief texture of the canvas

• an artistically refined, almost collage-like notation

He builds his artistic poetics as an experienced painter – convincingly, spiritually, and with pronounced maturity.
