Beus Borut – Waiting (Stay Faithful)

Borut Beus was born in 1966 in Ljubljana (Slovenia). He studied at the Pedagogical Faculty in Ljubljana, where he graduated in art education. He is a painter, sculptor, unique jewelry designer, and educator known especially for his socio-psychological conceptual projects, which he has worked on independently or together with other artists, often creating under a pseudonym. In his work, he follows the continuity of the European painting tradition, but it is also a combination and articulation of different visual languages, with a specific harmonic and chromatic system. He is the author of the notable high-profile project “Vsi ljudje mečemo enako senco” (All people cast the same shadow). He teaches art culture at the Secondary School of Economics in Ljubljana and teaches Project-Based Learning for Youth (PUM). He has participated in the Transgeneracije festival, numerous group exhibitions, and art colonies in his country and abroad.
