Brand Brigitte – Human and Architecture

Brigitte Brand was born in Rastatt, Germany in 1955 and today lives and works in Treviso, Italy. She graduated from the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart in the class of Prof. K.R.H. Sonderborg and moved to Italy in 1979 thanks to an annual scholarship to the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she studied under Prof. E. Vedova, whom she later married. Since 1980, she has exhibited in numerous public and private galleries in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. Her works are intimate records of states, memories, and emotions conveyed on canvas with vigorous, emphasized drawing, subtly accompanied by color.
