About the author:
Milena Braniselj was born in 1951 in Ljubljana. She graduated in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she also completed a specialization under Prof. Slavko Tihec. She is a member of ZDSLU.
During her career, she has held 47 solo and over 190 group exhibitions, as well as 21 public monuments. She is the recipient of 5 awards and numerous recognitions.
She lives and works in Cerknica as a freelance artist. Her work encompasses painting and sculpture, with a special focus on stylized mobile forms and three-dimensional artistic constructions characterized by elegance and refinement in simplicity.
