He has organized about fifty solo domestic and international exhibitions and participated in around a hundred group exhibitions: in Munich, Hanover, Vienna, Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Budapest, Milan, London, Cairo, at the international biennale in Poland, Berlin, Genoa, Piacenza,… He is the recipient of the German State Award for Visual Arts. He is a member of the BBK-Bayer artists’ association. His works are part of numerous collections: the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, many galleries, the Fondazione Reverberi in Genoa,… Many publications have been released about his work, and several television documentary films have been produced. He lives and works in Maitenbeth, Germany.

His painting is characterized by the expression of a powerful, free gesture which he records on the canvas with pure color. Focused on pure action painting, using lavage technique, with his gesture pulled through vast fields, he creates splashes and pours, modeling dense pigment, thus bringing the painting process itself into the foreground. The paintings are his personal psychograms, depicting the artist’s intensity and strong energy released onto the surfaces of the canvas.
