His painting is characterized by the expression of a powerful, free gesture captured on canvas with pure color. Turning to pure action painting, using lavage, he creates splashes and pours with his gesture swept across vast fields, modeling dense pigment and thus bringing the painting process itself to the forefront. The paintings are his personal psychograms that depict the artist’s passion and strong energy released over the spaces of the canvas.
