About the author:
He was born in 1981 in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Graphic Design. He is actively engaged in painting, design, classical and digital graphics. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions presenting himself as a graphic artist, poster author, as well as significant painting presentations in Serbia and the USA. He has held about ten solo exhibitions in his country and is the author of graphic designs and book equipment. He won the 2nd prize for graphics from the Braća Stamenković Institute, Belgrade, 2003, the 1st prize for a poster at the International Puppet Festival, Serbia, 2004, and a creativity award for the solution of a Cyrillic font from the Karić Foundation “Write in Cyrillic,” 2006. He lives and works in Belgrade.
Breaking down matter into primary elements and then reassembling them in a refined form is applicable in the analysis and description of his work. The expressionist painting, which rests on a solid form, devoid of ideology, reduced to a personal vision and the pure language of painterly gesture.
