Duparova Emilija – Female Nude x1

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed the High School of Fine Arts, decoration department, in Split under Prof. Gorko Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where in 1991 she graduated in painting under Prof. Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996, she has lived in Rijeka, where she works as a docent at the painting department at the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of the HDLU (Croatian Association of Artists) of Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka, as well as the art association LIKUM. Alongside painting and drawing, she is engaged in photography and video, spatial art interventions ranging from authorial artistic happenings, environments, and installations, to public spatial projects, events, and theatrical scenography. To date, she has held several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
