Duparova Emilija – Kamenjak 2

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed the High School of Fine Arts, decoration department, in Split under prof. Gorki Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where in 1991 she graduated in painting in the class of prof. Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996, she has been residing in Rijeka, where she works as an assistant professor at the painting department at the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of HDLU in Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka as well as the art association LIKUM. Alongside painting and drawing, she engages in photography and video, spatial art interventions ranging from authorial art happenings, ambiances, and installations, to public spatial projects, events, and theatrical stage designs. To date, she has realized several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
