Duparova Emilija – Landscape 1

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed the High School of Fine Arts, Department of Decoration, in Split under Prof. Gorko Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she graduated in painting in 1991 under Prof. Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996, she has lived in Rijeka, where she works as an assistant professor in the painting department at the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of HDLU Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka, as well as the artistic association LIKUM. In addition to painting and drawing, she engages in photography and video, spatial artistic interventions, from authorial art happenings, environments, and installations, to public spatial projects, events, and theatrical stage designs. To date, she has realized numerous solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
