Emilija Duparova – Female Nude x3

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed secondary School of Fine Arts, department of decoration, in Split under prof. Gorki Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where in 1991 she graduated painting in the class of prof. Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996 she has been living in Rijeka, where she works as an assistant professor at the painting department at the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of HDLU Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka as well as the art association LIKUM. Besides painting and drawing, she is engaged in photography and video, spatial art actions, from authorial visual happenings, environments and installations to public spatial projects, events and theatrical scenography. So far, she has realized several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
