Emilija Duparova – Landscape 3

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed Secondary School of Fine Arts, Department of Decoration, in Split under prof. Gorki Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she graduated in painting in 1991 in the class of prof. Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996, she has been living in Rijeka, where she works as an assistant professor at the painting department of the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of HDLU in Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka, as well as the art association LIKUM. Alongside painting and drawing, she engages in photography and video, spatial artistic actions—from authorial artistic happenings, ambient and installations to public spatial projects, events, and theatrical scenographies. To date, she has realized several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Croatia and abroad.
