Emilija Duparova – Oscillogram

Emilija Duparova was born in Split on October 11, 1967. She completed high school at the School of Fine Arts, Department of Decoration, in Split under Professor Gorki Žuvela. In 1986, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and in 1988 continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she graduated in painting in 1991 under Professor Z. Kauzlarić Atač. Since 1996, she has lived in Rijeka, where she works as an assistant professor in the painting department at the Academy of Applied Arts. She is a member of the HDLU (Croatian Association of Artists) in Split, Zagreb, and Rijeka as well as the art association LIKUM. In addition to painting and drawing, she works with photography and video, spatial art actions ranging from authorial visual happenings, environments, and installations to public spatial projects, events, and theatrical scenography. She has so far held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
