About the author:
He was born in 1947 in Rome, where he still lives and works. He graduated in painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome.
During his career, he has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including Rome, Milan, Labin, Venice, Tokyo, New York, and Paris.
In his artistic research, he is especially engaged in structural experiments. Through the technique of crumpling fine Chinese paper and applying it onto a surface, he achieves unique textural effects. He only suggests shapes with color, while his “language of structure” creates complex, layered relationships, revealing an exceptional sense for subtlety and visual refinement.
