About the author:She was born in 1985 in Kranj, Slovenia. She completed her studies in painting, new media, and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, which awarded her the Prešeren Award for Painting as a student in 2010. She then studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic, where in addition to painting, she gained education in photography. Despite her youth, she has exhibited solo shows in Slovenia and abroad and has received numerous awards – in 2009 she won the 1st prize at the 20th colony of graduates of Ljubljana ALU, the student Prešeren Award for painting; in 2010, the 2nd prize for photography in Geneva; in 2011, the Primavera DLUM award; as well as the international “Premio de Marchi” award in Bologna, Italy. In her artistic work, she freely moves through various media from painting and graphics to photography, video, and conceptual art. She is a member of the artistic group 3kolektiv, ZDSLU, and DLU Maribor. She lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
