About the author:
She was born in 1962 in Bosanski Brod, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated in painting in Ljubljana in the class of professor Mladen Jemejac. She is a recipient of the Dean’s Award. She has participated in several art colonies in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the projects Artist of Globe, “Water, Source of Life” and “Tesla.” So far, she has held six solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. She is a member of HULU and lives and works in Zagreb as a freelance artist.
She develops her style in the realm of abstract art, touching upon associative forms in her non-figurative painting with a hint of the “literary.” She expresses herself in small, contained cycles, often thematizing a specific emotion, a spiritual state, that invisible which she seeks to make visible only within her painting.
