About the author:
She was born in 1955 in Pula to Slovenian parents, on the land of Istria. She studied English and Italian languages and journalism at the University of Ljubljana. Her first artistic steps were marked by white paintings, with which she began her artistic career in 1987.
She was a member of the Staze art workshop, and from 2007 to 2009 attended the studio of painter Prof. Dino Trtovac, where she refined her figuration and colorism. For ten years (2002-2012) she was an active member of Laudato, exploring the sacred aspects of the contemporary world.
In 2012, she became a member of the international group Movimento Energy Tracks from Rome, and in 2014 began collaborating with the Canadian Galerie d’art uNo, of which she is a regular collaborator. She was a member of the Croatian Artists’ Association Zagreb (until 2016), and since 2016 has been a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists and Art Critics.
So far, she has organized about twenty solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions, art colonies, and symposiums in the homeland, Italy, Slovenia, Canada, Argentina, and Japan. Her works are found in numerous private collections worldwide.
