About the author:

He was born in 1971 in Zagreb. He completed the graphic department at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Split, and then studied painting, graduating in 1995 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, under the class of Prof. Đuro Seder. He is a painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor, and photographer, with acrylic on canvas being his most used technique. He paints various themes, but the most frequent subject throughout his works is the human body. His works are held in numerous museum and private collections. He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and presented about 30 solo exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. He has led art workshops and participated in many art colonies and symposiums. He has studied in Paris, Milan, Venice, and Vienna. He has created numerous works of sacred themes: Stations of the Cross in Solin, an altar piece and Stations of the Cross in Dubrovnik, and a mosaic on the facade of the church in Zagvozd. He writes poetry, aphorisms, and short essays on the field of visual arts. For many years, he has been publishing them on Facebook with the aim of nurturing and affirming literature on social networks. He won the Post Scriptum award for literature on social networks in 2016. This award led him to his poetic debut “We Must Love Someone (both on the web and on earth)”. He is a member of HZSU, HULU, and HULULK.
