Zoltán Hús was born in 1949 in Budapest, Hungary. Between 1964 and 1968, he studied at the College for Fine and Applied Arts in Budapest. Subsequently, between 1972 and 1976, he attended the Theological College in Esztergom. In 1980, he moved to the United States, where he lived and worked until 1994, before returning to Budapest. During his time in New York and Hollywood, Hús turned away from modernist ambitions and focused on studying the techniques of the old masters. His work is characterized by original pictorial imagination, combining visual paradoxes, sensual depictions, and masterful drawing with mysterious inspirations and surreal meanings. His artworks have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and are part of collections in museums in Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, and Budapest.
