About the author:
She was born in 1971 in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design (painting program) in Zagreb. In 1998, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, pedagogical department, painting program, under the mentorship of prof. Eugen Kokot.
As a freelance collaborator with various production companies, she works in illustration and scenography. She participated in the production of several documentary and docudrama films, series, and TV shows. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists and the Croatian Association of Independent Artists. She has been actively exhibiting since 1994 both in Croatia and abroad.
She earned her master’s degree in the postgraduate study of painting and video (prof. Gustav Gnamuš, prof. Srećo Dragan, assoc. prof. Dušan Bučar) at ALUO in Ljubljana, with a master’s thesis titled “Painting with Shadows.” Since 2009, she has been the project manager of the Open Studio – Ožujski in Ivanić-Grad.
In 2011, she stayed in Graz as a scholarship recipient in a three-month residency program at Rondo Studio Graz, where she completed the project “Babel we are not mad with You.” She has received several awards.
