About the author:
She was born in 1971 in Zagreb, Croatia. She completed the School of Applied Arts and Design (painting department) in Zagreb. In 1998, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, pedagogical department, painting major, in the class of Prof. Eugen Kokot.
As an external collaborator with various production houses, she works in illustration and scenography. She participated in the creation of several documentary and docudrama films, series, and TV shows. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists and the Croatian Association of Independent Artists. She has been actively exhibiting since 1994 both domestically and internationally.
She completed her master’s degree in the postgraduate study of painting and video (Prof. Gustav Gnamuš, Prof. Srećo Dragan, assist. Prof. Dušan Bučar) at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, with a master’s thesis titled “Painting with Shadows”. Since 2009, she has been the leader of the Open Studio – Ožujski project in Ivanić-Grad.
In 2011, she stayed in Graz as a scholarship holder in the three-month residency program at Rondo Studio Graz, where she realized the project “Babel we are not mad with You”. She has received several awards.
