About the author:He was born in Zagreb in 1940, and since 1966 he has lived and worked in France, in Colmar. He studied defectology, but has always been active in artistic fields: theater, cinematography, and visual arts. He was a member of SEK (Student Experimental Theater) in Zagreb. He acquired knowledge of artistic painting techniques in the studio and workshop of the well-known French painter and graphic artist Claude Flach, and in Croatia he learned graphic arts from Nevenka Arbanas, participating in numerous graphic and mosaic workshops organized in Croatia and France, in cooperation with the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts and the High School of Art in Mulhouse. He is a member of the Society of French Visual Artists (La Maison des Artistes de France) – Lezard from Colmar and HULULK. He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions of Lezard and about twenty solo exhibitions in France and Croatia. He also exhibited at the World Graphic Triennial in France. He is included in the world graphic arts book (Les graphiques du Monde). He engages in painting and graphics, undertaking multifaceted research in the field of art. His work is part of the artistic exhibition project and monograph “Greetings from Tuzla,” in which the French writer and humanist Gerhard Kardon gathered about thirty eminent world artists and presents them throughout Europe.
