About the author:He was born in Zagreb in 1940 and has been living and working in France, in Colmar, since 1966. He studied special education but has always been active in the artistic fields: theater, cinematography, and visual arts. He was a member of SEK (Student Experimental Theater) in Zagreb. He acquired knowledge of artistic techniques and painting in the studio and workshop of the well-known French painter and graphic artist Claude Flach, and in Croatia, he learned graphic art from Nevenka Arbanas, participating in numerous graphic and mosaic workshops organized in Croatia and France in collaboration with the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts and the Higher School of Art in Mulhouse. He is a member of the Society of French Visual Artists (La Maison des Artistes de France) – Lezard from Colmar, and HULULK. He exhibits in numerous group exhibitions of Lezard and has held about twenty solo exhibitions in France and Croatia. He has also exhibited at the World Triennial of Graphic Art in France. He is listed in the book of world graphics (Les graphiques du Monde). He is engaged in painting and graphic art, involving multifaceted research in the field of art. His work is part of the artistic exhibition project and monograph “Greetings from Tuzla,” through which the French writer and humanist Gerhard Kardon gathered about thirty eminent world artists and presents them across Europe.
