About the author:He was born in Zagreb in 1940 and has been living and working in France, in Colmar, since 1966. He studied defectology but has always been active in artistic fields: theater, cinematography, and visual arts. He was a member of SEK in Zagreb (Student Experimental Theater). He acquired knowledge of artistic painting techniques in the studio and workshop of the famous French painter and graphic artist Claude Flach, and in Croatia, he studied printmaking under Nevenka Arbanas, participating in numerous printmaking and mosaic workshops organized in Croatia and France, in collaboration with the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Art from Mulhouse. He is a member of the Society of French Visual Artists (La Maison des Artistes de France) – Lezard from Colmar and HULULK. He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions of Lezard and has held about twenty solo exhibitions in France and Croatia. He also exhibited at the World Triennial of Printmaking in France. He is included in the book of world graphics (Les graphiques du Monde). He works in painting and printmaking, engaging in multifaceted artistic research. His work is part of the art exhibition project and monograph “Greetings from Tuzla,” in which the French writer and humanist Gerhard Kardon gathered about thirty prominent world artists and presented them across Europe.
