About the author:
She was born in 1965 in Zagreb. She graduated in 1990 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, studying painting under professors Koydl, Keser, and Kauzlarić Atač. So far, she has exhibited in about twenty solo and thirty group exhibitions, and has carried out twenty spatial interventions (land art) in Croatia and abroad. She has been a member of HDLU since 1990. Since 1993, she has worked as a restorer, participated in professional training in Munich, and completed postgraduate studies in Budapest, where in 2000 she earned a master’s degree in wooden sculpture restoration. Since 1998, she has been an assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, at the Department of Restoration and Conservation of Artworks. She writes and publishes poetry and prose in literary magazines and on the radio. In 2001, her book of short stories “Janus’ daughters sisters brides” was published by “M D” edition, and in 2007 her poetry book “Lovers queens of hunger” was published by “Autorska kuća” edition. She lives and works in Zagreb.
