Krešimir Nikšić – Untitled 15

He was born in Zagreb in 1961. He completed an author’s painting school under Prof. Dino Trtovac’s class, after which he enrolled at the College for Visual Arts in Ljubljana, graduating under the guidance of assoc. prof. dr. sc. Tanja Mastnak and prof. dr. sc. Darko Slavec. Occasionally, he works as an illustrator, designs interiors, and creates theatrical scenography. The publishing house Znanje in Zagreb published his monograph “Portrait of the Artist.” He lives and works in Zagreb. Under the auspices of UNESCO, his work was exhibited at the prestigious Espace Pierre Cardin gallery in Paris (1998). He is the winner of the first prize for painting at the 13th Biennial internazionale Art del Friulli Giullia (2002). He is a member of the professional associations HDLU and HZSU.
