About the author:
He was born in 1957 in Kolozsvár (today Cluj-Napoca, Romania). In 1983, he graduated in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskola), where he studied under the mentorship of prominent professors Ignác Kóka and Gábor Dienes. From the completion of his studies until today, his artistic work has been inseparably linked to Budapest, the city where he lives and creates.
He began his solo exhibition career as early as 1983 and has realized 29 solo exhibitions since then. Simultaneously, he participated in numerous group exhibitions across Hungary and abroad, gaining significant recognition on the international art scene. His works, characterized by a distinctive personal style, are held in the collections of prestigious museums and galleries as well as private collections, testifying to the lasting value of his creative output. Over four decades of artistic work, he has developed a unique visual expression that merges the tradition of Hungarian modern painting with a distinctive personal approach.
