He was born in 1957 in Kolozsvár (today Cluj-Napoca, Romania). In 1983, he graduated in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskola), where he studied under the mentorship of prominent professors Ignác Kókás and Gábor Dienes. Since completing his studies, his artistic work has been inseparably connected to Budapest, the city where he lives and creates.

He began his solo exhibition career as early as 1983 and has since held 29 solo exhibitions. Concurrently, he participated in numerous group exhibitions across Hungary and abroad, gaining significant recognition on the international art scene. His works, distinguished by a recognizable personal style, are housed in prestigious museum and gallery collections, as well as in private collections, attesting to the lasting value of his creativity. Over four decades of artistic work, he has developed a unique visual expression that combines the tradition of Hungarian modern painting with a distinctive personal approach.
