About the author:
She was born in 1967 in Port Louis, Mauritius. In the United Kingdom, she completed art and design school (Epsom School of Art & Design) in Surrey, then studied at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris. She is a recipient of the Juliet Gomperts Memorial Scholarship from London, followed by a scholarship that funded her study trip to Tuscany. Love then leads her to Germany where she works at the Kunstflug Design Studio for product design. At that time, she participated in artistic competitions, and at one she was awarded first prize, marking the start of her artistic career in Germany. In 1997, she moved into her own studio in Düsseldorf. To date, she has held about fifteen solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Mauritius, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Croatia, and the United Kingdom. She has won five awards, including one awarded in Croatia (Riva Art, Fažana), and her latest at the Contemporary Art Festival in France (Senlis). She lives and works in Hilden, Germany. Her art always carries a multiethnic and multicultural background, with an understanding and respect for her own national culture and tradition.
