Lindner Razeea Mamode Ally – Rab IV

She was born in 1967 in Port Louis, Mauritius. She completed art and design school (Epsom School of Art & Design) in Surrey, UK, then studied at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris. She received the Juliet Gomperts Memorial Scholarship from London, followed by a scholarship funding her study trip to Tuscany. Her passion later took her to Germany, where she started working at the Kunstflug Design Studio for product design. At that time, she participated in art competitions, winning first prize in one, marking the beginning of her artistic career in Germany. In 1997, she moved into her own studio in Düsseldorf. So far, she has held about fifteen solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Mauritius, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Croatia, and the UK. She has received five awards, including one in Croatia (Riva Art, Fažana), and the latest at the Contemporary Art Festival in France (Senlis). She lives and works in Hilden, Germany. Her art always has a multiethnic and multicultural background, with an understanding and respect for her own national culture and tradition.
